The graduate program in chemistry offers specialization in analytical, biological, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry and chemical physics. Interdisciplinary research is currently conducted in the areas of surface science, natural product synthesis, biological chemistry, combinatorial chemistry, laser spectroscopy, materials science, nanoscience, organometallic chemistry, and computational and theoretical chemistry.
